Switchyards membership includes 24/7 access to all of our current and future clubs. That's the power of our All-City membership.

Across all locations, our network name is Switchyards and the password is madewithsoul

All locations have either phone booths or meeting rooms for private calls or zooms. They must be reserved in order to use (no drop-ins) and you must check in to confirm your booking. Book a room → switchyards.com/rooms - it takes just 20 seconds.

You will receive a check-in reminder email 30 minutes before your reservation. You will have until 10 minutes after the booking starts to check in. If you do not do this, your room reservation will be canceled and can be rebooked by another member.

Switchyards is a shared space. And you’re going to bump into your neighbors. In order for this space to be great, there are a few specific ways that it needs to be used (and not used). See Club Rules section. Members who routinely violate the rules or are generally disrespectful to other members will be removed from the club.

All members will use an app called Alta Open to open the doors. You will receive a separate email from Avigilon Alta Open (check your spam too!) with an invitation to download their app. Look for the subject line: "Activate your mobile key for Switchyards." Email us if you didn't get this. Please note: you cannot enter any club without this.

There's free parking on-site and plenty of street parking nearby:

• Dedicated parking lot in front of the club.

• Shared parking lot behind the club.

• Street parking on Buxton Ave, Collier Ave, Coxe Ave, Millard Ave, Short Coxe Ave, and Southside Ave

• Public parking Lot on Buxton Ave

• Public parking Deck is on Federal Alley

Please be mindful to only park in marked spaces, as no parking is allowed outside of these in this lot.

Always open — 24/7

You will be able to access the club anytime you like using the Alta Open app. The space will be constantly monitored via access control and our closed-circuit security cameras.

The entrance for the Asheville location is next door to Underground Fitness. Look for the "SY" logo on the door. Welcome to Switchyards!

All members will use an app to open the doors. It’s our fancy new way for you to open the doors of Switchyards with your phone. Upon joining the club you will receive an invitation to download the Alta Open Security app. Please note: you will not be able to enter any location without this.

With the app installed on your phone, just scan your phone or wave your hand in front of the black reader next to the door.

• Set access to "Always Allow" and all you have to do is wave your hand near the reader. Your phone doesn't even have to leave your pocket. It’s pretty magical once you do it.

• If access is not set to "Always Allow", you'll have to take your phone out of your pocket to unlock the door.

The club is always open for 24/7 work and focus. You will be able to access the club anytime you like using the Alta Open app. The space will be constantly monitored via access control and our closed-circuit security cameras.

Since these spaces are 24/7, we will not have staff on-site at all hours. We will, however, be constantly monitoring the space and will have our Clubkeeps physically checking in on it every day. We call it "invisible hospitality".

The password is madewithsoul across all locations.

We've sweated every detail around our members' use case. The space is divided into two primary areas: the “cafe” area and “The Library of Deep Work and Focus.” Please respect the library area and do not take calls, meetings, zooms, etc. when working there. When in the large cafe area, small in-person meetings and chatting are totally fine. But if you have a call or zoom, please respect other members and take it from one of our 4 bookable phone booths or a meeting room.
